This is the fourth webinar in the 2026 series and is focused on professional standards and ethical issues affecting the use of AI by legal professionals.

Registration is still open.

The event is presented by Sorcha Hayes (head of practice regulation, practice closures, and complaints and client relations at the Law Society).

The unit is responsible for distressed practice closures, practising certificates, professional indemnity insurance, practice commencements and cessations, certificates of good standing and attestation, Register of Orders, registered European lawyers, practice names, practice notepaper, historic complaints, and guidance and ethics.

She also serves as secretary of the Law Society’s Professional Indemnity Insurance Committee.
