Staines Law is a specialist legal practice based in Dublin advising clients across the agricultural and agri-sector in Ireland. They are seeking an experienced Solicitor to join their team and help them deliver the high-quality, specialist advice our clients depend on.
The role
This is a substantive role for a solicitor with genuine experience and the ambition to grow within a specialist niche practice.
The successful candidate will advise on a range of matters including:
- Advising Landowners on option & lease agreements for renewables
- Contract disputes and commercial litigation, including agri-sector disputes
- Farm transfer, farm succession planning, and agricultural conveyancing
- Landlord and tenant matters, including agricultural leases and conacre arrangements
- Advising farming families and agri-businesses on transactional and contentious matters
- Contentious and non contentious probate and assisted decision support
The candidate
Staines Law is looking for a solicitor with 5+ years' post-qualification experience who can demonstrate:
- Experience in litigation and dispute resolution, particularly contract disputes
- Conveyancing experience, ideally including farm transfers and succession matters
- Landlord and tenant knowledge, including agricultural context
- Experience of, or a genuine affinity with, the agricultural and farming sector in Ireland
- Strong client management skills and a practical, solution-focused approach
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a close-knit team
